Loganathan. K Secretary
Loganathan has a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperation and Community Development from Gandhigram Rural University, Dindigul. He has been in the development sector for the last 25 years and attended a number of conferences and workshops both at national and international level. His area of expertise is women empowerment, micro finance and livelihood
K.S.Rama Rao
K.S.Rama Rao, a Mechanical Engineer with a MBA from IIM Calcutta, comes with over 40 years of industry experience. He started his work life in the textile industry where he spent 23 years in various capacities in Manufacturing and Quality Assurance and rose to become a Senior Vice President. The next ten years were spent in Consulting. He was involved in consulting for various small and medium enterprises, helping them transform their businesses through Process Reengineering and application of appropriate technology to drive efficiency. He, then along with a few colleagues, co-founded a niche consulting company where he put together the hard and soft infrastructure in place. He continues to be a freelance consultant. In the short period he has ben associated with ASSCOD, he has put systems and processes in place and also created policies for the various aspects of good governance.
V.K.Anandhi, President
She has been in the social sector for the last 30 years. Her area of specialization is health. She completed her multipurpose health work training and enabled around 10000 poor people to undergo cataract surgery free of cost and restore normal eyesight.
She has been volunteering with several NGOs and imparting health education to the women from poor families.
V. Hemalatha, Treasurer
She has been a community volunteer and has a dream of creating a greater number of women entrepreneurs. She runs a beauty parlour and imparts training to the poor women either free of cost/concessional rate.
She is a volunteer of a differently abled home where 23 differently abled children are staying in a hostel. Mrs. Hemalatha has been collecting funds from individuals and supporting the children to continue their studies.
M. Vijayakumar
He has been Panchayat President in one of the biggest panchayats in Kancheepuram District and he is good in utilising Government programmes to benefit poor people. He has won Best Panchayat President award.
He has been maintaining a good rapport with the Government Officials and bringing their services to benefit the poor families mainly from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
He enabled 2000 poor families to access safe drinking water and toilet facilities.
R. Kannan
He has been in financial services and addresses the issues of poor people especially the disabled.
M. Saraswathi
She has served in different NGOs and is keen on addressing women issues through volunteerism and working with NGOs. She has 10 years of grassroot level experience in organizing Community Based Organizations (CBOs). She formed about 150 Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) and facilitated the members to attain social and economic empowerment.
Advisors
Sunanda Rangarajan
Sunanda Rangarajan brings a wide experience in social responsibility, social impact strategy and fund raising in the development sector both in India and abroad. She has handled key donor relationships, worked closely with multiple stakeholders in this ecosystem. She believes in partnerships and collaborations for amplifying impact in the communities. Having started off her journey as a social entrepreneur in 2012, she believes in community and collaboration as the key area of focus. With this commitment and passion, she hopes to add value to the sector where possible. She graduated from CSIS(Centre for Social Impact Strategy )- U Penn school of social policy and change, USA in 2020 and is currently the head of CSR at Omega health care.
Kannan Sugantharaman
As Chief financial officer of Omega Healthcare, Kannan Sugantharaman is responsible for company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance, GRC and investor relations. He also oversees the execution of Global Business Transformation – an enterprise level initiative to drive efficiency and scale across all functions including Sales Excellence, Marketing, Capability expansion, M&A, Delivery Excellence, Technology, HR and Finance.
His career spans more than 24 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership, corporate strategy and operations excellence.
Prior to joining Omega Healthcare in 2020, Kannan served as CFO of Global Delivery Operations at Cognizant Technology Solutions (2019-2020) and COO of a Business Unit in Cognizant from 2017 to 2019. He has held leadership positions in Sutherland Global Services (2004 – 2014). He started his career with KPMG.
Apart from his corporate engagements, Kannan also heads the community development initiative for Rotary Club of Madras -East. He is actively involved in various grass root community programs in his current role as well. He is passionate about education, women’s rights and empowerment.
Kannan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. He is also a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Deepak Ramesh
Deepak handles all the technology requirements of ASSCOD and is responsible for maintaining and posting on the Company website and social media.
