This initiative aims to provide clean water to 1920 girl students at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Maduranthakam, Tamil Nadu. The Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water plant, built with a capacity of 1500 liters per hour, stands as a testament to Sun Pharmaceuticals commitment to community welfare.

Sun Pharmaceuticals partnered with ASSCOD to implement the project. The RO plant, with a capacity of 1500 liters per hour, was built at a cost of Rs. 7,00,000. The project not only addresses the immediate water needs of the students but also contributes to the broader goal of promoting hygiene and health in the community.The project was seamlessly integrated into the ‘Namma School Namma Oru Palli’ initiative of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
