A Day of Health and Hope
On June 15, 2024, ASSCOD, in partnership with Bharat Hospitals, hosted a transformative Eye and Health Camp at CSI School Karunguzhi. From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the event provided essential medical services to nearly 60 attendees from 15 surrounding villages, underscoring a commitment to enhancing community health.This camp was mainly organised to address the cataract issues in aged poor people who belong to nearby village.
Comprehensive Health Screenings
Attendees underwent thorough evaluations for blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and vision assessments. Professional doctors from Bharat Hospitals conducted these screenings, ensuring each individual received personalized care and attention. This holistic approach demonstrated the commitment of ASSCOD and Bharat Hospitals to the community’s well-being.
Life-Changing Eye Care
A significant highlight of the camp was the identification of 13 individuals in need of cataract surgeries. These surgeries, provided free of charge, will not only restore vision but also significantly improve the quality of life for these individuals. This intervention exemplifies the camp’s spirit of offering impactful healthcare solutions to those in need.
Immediate Relief with Prescriptions and Medicines
In addition to eye care, attendees received prescriptions tailored to their specific health issues. The distribution of medicines addressed immediate health concerns, providing much-needed relief to many participants.
